Planned maintenance of the powergrid at my ISP's data center might result in sporadic internet outage for some
of my servers during 8 hrs on October 1, 2009 19:00 until October 2, 03:00 CET.
(Manila local time: October 2, 2009 1:00 AM until 9:00 AM)
My ISP will try to maintain internet access for me by using UPS power while the main power is disconnected.
However, I expect sporadic service outages for some customers during this time.

Major power outage in the whole city where most of my servers are hosted.
During the power outage, VoIP service was unavailable for most of my customers.
This website was also unavailable.

My DID provider reports that they have found the source of the problem and are working together with the Japanese carrier to solve it.

Tokyo DID's currently has problems with one way audio. You can hear the caller but the caller can't hear you.
My Tokyo DID provider is currently investigating the issue.
Osaka DID's are NOT affected by this problem.

Until further notice, add prefix 55 in front of 0081 for calls to Japan and your call will be routed
via a backup provider (limited service).

I have for the last week been working on improving the connectivity for my subscribers in the Philippines.
Some areas like Boracay have been experiencing problems with the ATA going off-line quite often.
I have made some changes in the configuration of the ATA's and it seem to have helped.
Please report back to me if any of you still have problems with the ATA going off line.

Due to a server problem at one of my VoIP providers, calls to sweden without prefix 0046 is not possible.
It seem this problem will not be solved until aprox July 11.

There has been some problems with users getting the message "all lines busy" or "the person you are trying to call is not available" when calling US and Canadian numbers.
This problem should now have been solved.
Please report to me if you often get similar messages for other destinations.

There's currently a problem with my DNS servers. I expect this to have been solved within 8 hrs.
This problem currently affects the website and e-mail on my domain.
Phone service is not affected.
